Suddenlink Phone is powered by electricity. In the event of a power outage, Suddenlink Phone service should continue to operate as usual for up to eight (8) hours with the back-up battery that Suddenlink provides at no extra charge during installation. In the event of a Suddenlink network outage or if the modem that supplies Suddenlink Phone service is disconnected, removed, or the back-up battery is not charged, Suddenlink Phone service, including access to 911 service, will not be available. To insure that emergency authorities respond to the proper address, the Suddenlink telephone modem should not be moved from the address at which it was installed.
